bean's answer to da question

I think that the beginning of the book was really intense and good. It made me want to keep reading. But now, I feel like the author is just writing random stuff that doesn't really have to do with the rape. Maybe eventually it will all come together and make sense to the beginning of the memoir. Between the description of the rape and page 80, it has been generally boring. There are a couple interesting pages but not enough to make me want to read the next assigned section.
